We work best when we can act as your in-house SEO & Content Marketing Department, handling everything from strategic direction to implementation on content production, distribution, and promotion. How long does it typically take to see results?
SEO & Content Marketing is an endurance sport. Unlike other marketing channels where you spend some money, put up an ad, and start to see results right away — there’s a bit of a waiting game to play.
This kind of marketing requires an upfront investment to get going but with a few months of pressure and time, you’ll reap exponential returns for years to come.
Typically, you can expect to see early success indicators (indexed pages, rankings, traffic, etc) within about 3 months after making changes to your website. But things really start to take off around the 6 month mark.
In general, we’ll spend our first month putting together your strategy, auditing your site, analyzing your competitors, and getting the lay-of-the-land on consumer search interest trends.
Once that’s delivered and approved, we’ll propose changes to your landing pages, we’ll start publishing net new content to your site, and we’ll promote the hell out of it. From that point on, depending on your industry and where your company stands within it, you’ll start to see results come through within the year.
Stick with it for a year or more and wondrous and amazing things will happen to your business.
What is the pricing structure for your services?
All of our engagements start at $10,000/month.
We tailor all of our packages to your needs, goals, and timelines. We generally try to scope specific deliverables with their own sticker prices but you’re welcome to keep things loose and buy blocks of consulting hours as well.
Since SEO & Content take a bit of time to make a substantial impact on the business, we try to scope our work in 6 – 12 month increments.
We’re not opposed to shorter terms, depending on the project, but if you really want to get the most out of these marketing channels we strongly advise that you commit for the long haul.

How do you handle communication, reporting, and collaboration with clients throughout the project?
We want to plug right into your team. We work best when it feels like we’re all co-collaborators with open lines of communication. We’ll set up a Slack channel for us to connect, deliver bi-weekly email updates to your key stakeholders, present monthly or quarterly reviews (depending on scope), and answer any ad-hoc questions that may come up over the course of the engagement.
Content Marketing can’t be done in a vacuum. We need to understand your business and know your customers as if they were our own. The more information we can download from you and your team, the more effective our efforts will be.
How do you use Generative AI like ChatGPT and Midjourney in your work?
It’s a little weird to say but we consider ChatGPT, Midjourney, and other generative AI technology to be junior members of our marketing staff.
We work with these tools on a daily basis, not only because they are extremely useful in an infinite variety of ways, but because we need to understand them at a fundamental level so that we can prepare our clients to take full advantage of them.
Having said that, we want to be clear: there’s a lot of hype to demystify with these technologies.
We are not an AI-Content shop. In other words, an AI did not write this.
We take a level-headed and inquisitive approach to using these technologies. We apply them where they work well and we’re constantly looking for new ways to use them to better serve our clients.
But we recognize that they are flawed.
